Going back to the future to retro website design
Good Fun Corporation, a gaming company with a unique approach, came to us looking for a website that would set them apart from the rest. Unlike the typical gaming company websites out there focused on driving sales, they wanted to create a mysterious and entertaining experience that would intrigue visitors and get their name out there.
As an Auckland graphic design company, our bunnies are experts when it comes to crafting unique websites. We embraced this vision by designing a distinctive hero section with the playful headline “Are you having fun?”—a clever nod to the company’s name. The entire site was given a gaming pixel look, creating a nostalgic yet fresh feel. To enhance the retro website design feel, we transformed their logo into a series of numbers resembling code, further emphasising the enigmatic vibe of the brand.
The gaming website design features a pink grid on a white background, reinforcing the retro gaming aesthetic. Instead of traditional calls to action that lead to a form, each prompt humorously pops up with a “Nope” message, adding to the brand’s memorable and quirky personality. This unconventional approach successfully captures the essence of Good Fun Corporation, leaving visitors curious about the company while having a memorable impact.
